December 6 - Nanaimo Golf Club - GreyNotes entertained the Real Estate Mid Island Executives Christmas party
November 21 & 22 - Red Martini Room - GreyNotes returned for another weekend of blues.
October 29 - Fairwinds Golf Club - music series Marti Gras Dinner Dance
October 24 & 25 - Red Martini Grill - GreyNotes CD Release Party featured our new 'Live at the Blues Underground' tunes.
September 27th - Ladner Market - Rivermania was a special event for the BC150 celebration.
August 15th - VIEX - GreyNotes opened the VIEX Woodgrove Stage this year.
August 23rd - Diana Krall Plaza - GreyNotes performed at The Nanaimo Summertime Blues Festival.
July 13th - Ladner Market - Grey Notes are in for the special market
March 17th -Number 10 Legion in Nanaimo - Blue Gambit played for St. Patricks Day. The room was alive with green hats and the Irish stew was to die for.
March 29th - Blue Gambit recorded a new live CD with the GreyNotes. We are recording at the Blues Underground down by the China steps. It was so exciting to be recording live. Good eats and a party to follow.
April 5th - we were a mini Gambit with just Johnny and Cathy at the Elks Lounge on Townsite road for a special party.
2007
March 10th - our five piece band "The GreyNotes" raised one thousand dollars for the firefighters burn camp for kids at the Kiwanis Club fundraiser dance. Giving back to our community is important to our band.
Wednesdays - we have been jamming at the Dinghy Dock Pub.. What a great place to eat and a truly welcoming jam.
On the last Friday of every month we become a gospel band at MGM. The Barbarians host a great night of original and classic gospel.
May 5th - Cathy is teaming up with Lynne Peterson at The Cedar Brooke restaurant for Dinner With a Songwriter.
May 5th ,6th and 7th - The recording project at Woodshop Studio runs. The GreyNotes are joining us for a multi-original song CD.
May 11th and 12th - Blue Gambit will be rocking the boat over at the Dinghy Dock Pub. The fun starts at seven PM.
June 3rd - Blue gambit in tandem with their associate band the GreyNotes played a Rally For Haven House. We set up sound and played one set with Haley Breedlove. This young Island singer has a new single out on country radio stations and is already a pro. The community living idol Peter Bourne charmed us with some old tunes and Mamas Kitchen played a rousing set of familiar tunes.
Great weather, good food and some wild drivers raised over five thousand dollars for Haven.
Blue Gambit is proud to have played a part in another worthy cause.
